I have always believed that they never made a pump plate in that size. With that in mind, one of PCM's older books does list a die cut shield shaped truck sign at 12".They don't list the other dimension. It just might be a real truck sign.

BTW, the pop in Vic's catalog is listed at 12" X 12".I don't collect much Phillips stuff so it will be interesting to see what some of the other guys think.

Not real in any variation of size. They didn't use PPP's.

Collect small Oklahoma Oil Co.'s 1920's-1940's. Barnsdall, Cushing, Eason, Marland, etc.

The question deepens. The 10.5 in. width is what had me wondering also.I was aware Phillips never had a porcelain pump plate, but maybe this particular size could be a truck plate of sorts. Thanks all for the input.

The addition of some nice rusty chips around the holes always give them an authentic touch.

All of this hobby of collecting is an on going education and learning experience. All of us are certainly being challenged by the fakesters out there today.Experience and knowledge are the key.The market currently is being flooded with some pretty sharp fakes that keep all of us on our toes!
