I have sever signs not ande rooney

Example the Texaco No Smoking Sign

trying to find the reproduction mfg for porcelain signs

AAA sign company does a lot of the reproductions but the real phonys are the unmarked copies of the original that often have the forged name of the original maker on the sign! These are the ones that cause the most trouble and often nhave the seller/owner of a forgery, believing that they have the real thing!

The way this reads to me is..this person is looking for someone to make signs for them.

I thought the same when I read it. A reproduction will probably run more than an original depending on what you want.

Strikes me as someone wanting to buy the signs to resell. The Texaco "No Smoking Sign" is one of the problem signs as it is dated 1933 although it is a repro.

That's why I didn't respond to this ad initially as I don't want to be associated with the problem by promoting those repro's.

Ande ROONEY no longer make or sell Texaco signs as they only sell licensed products.
