If a guy was telling me he had a porcelain Sunset sign I'd be there THAT DAY

You should know just looking at a porcelain sign that large if it is real or not...perhaps it's a SUNRAY or some other killer piece with a sunset on it??

Though I will add that is a strange place (N. Carolina) to find a sunset sign...

I'm supposed to go see it this week. He insists that it is as tall as his armpit, so I'm guessing 48" (unless he's really short). double sided, good condition. Is 10k too much to pay for one this size? We don't see any Sunset signs around here, so I don't have anything to compare it to. He found it out west in Arizona.

Armpit height, I'd guess closer to 5'.
Hopefully you have been watching them on eBay, then it's your call/money.
