What size were the Sunset Gasoline Signs? I've only seen the 30 inch ones online, but was told that some may have been a bit bigger like 42". Any help appreciatated.

Besides a Bulk Plant Painted roof sign, this is the only large sign I have seen for SUNSET.

I have personally seen the same graphics (as Dick posted) on a somewhat triangular shaped art deco porcelain sign at a friends collection. The height of the triangle being squashed down if that makes any sense. The sign is the real deal...

That is a KILLER sign Randy. I'm almost positive the one I seen had DELUXE on the bottom. I could be mistaken as I only seen it once and it's been awhile, but I still believe it was a different version.

I have also seen a couple like Randy's, but thought the original question was were the round signs made in 42".

IMHO... no.

What's questionable is the size of the Sunset in the photo.

I had one like the one in the picture & it was 5'.
anything over 4' is to big so I got rid of it-
the one in the picture isn't round- its octagon.. cool

Thanks for the help. The guy is about 2 hours away from me so I haven't seen the sign yet. He says that it is a round 46-48" sign with the car/airplane Sunset graphics on it. Just hate to waste my time and gas to go look at it if it may be a homemade or reproduction sign that was never made. He insists that it is porcelain.
