If memory serves me correct, wasn't there a member some time back that had made a die to stamp that marking on the sheet metal? Can't remember if he was marketing them or not?

...I thought he just added metal to a flat panel, to create the illusion that it was embossed?

Hi guys,

I guess I had better clear it up.Yes,there was a memberwho made the die to stamp them out.It was Jeremy,AKA Itsagas, who did it using the drawing provided by DB ( thanks DB)and several pics of my 34 with real, original skins to make them as close as possible to the real thing.

He was restoring a pump for someone up in Colorado (Lee?)and it came out great. If anyone is interested I'll find the post on it.
He really went the extra mile to get it right. The end result was outstanding.

It was my pump that he made the skins for and they turned out amazing. Yes they are embossed not layered with metal.
Not only did he make them, and emboss them, he also did the cut outs on the side wings of the side panels. You couldn’t tell them from factory ones.
I know he is swamped at work right now, I e mailed him a couple days ago about making me a door for a pump I just purchased. It may take him a while to get back to you.

...looks great - and looks like future orders...

...I thought for sure there was some discussion of adding some layers to the door, but maybe that was about the construction of the die...
