Ya never know. Maybe the choke was set too low and he was reving to keep it from cutting out, so reved on take off and Whoops!
Bob's Mom almost wrecked his GTO (Judge) because the accelerator was a little touchy. The slightest touch from a stop and you'd get whiplash. Before my time 'cause I would have enjoyed driving that!

He over corrected when the car started to fish tail. I have done a lot of high speed pursuit driving and learned very early in my career that....when in doubt hit the accelerator pedal and not the brake pedal. All he had to do was accelerate hard, ease of the accelerator (allow the car to straighten out) and then floor it again!
