I agree with $600.00. My understanding is that they should have threaded bases to be originals.

heres a red one on Ebay with an hour and half left at 510.00 190677548069 That Red Crown was close to NOS, might as well be comparing Fresh eggs to Rotten eggs, ain't the same. Both Ebay auctions have multiple pictures & your valuing his dirty crowns w/ 1 picture?

He asked my opinion, and I wanted a collectors point of view instead of ebays. I could post other pics, but there is no need. I may buy them, not sure at this point, but I was not trolling for a sale. Thanks Wally

gom....
fresh eggs to rotten eggs really....
yea wally's has dirt on it...and the other didnt...
not even close to a good comparison...
a repop is 300.00
and these things consistently bring 500-600 on ebay....
something is always worth what somebody is willing to pay you...PERIOD.... not what somebody tells you its worth necessarily....if they don't have cash in their hand to buy it then its an opinion....if they have cash in hand and are willing to buy it...then it is fact....IMO

Got a look at them today. Red is worn, but the gold is NOS. The person who had them worked for Standard Oil. He had the box for the gold, but thinks he trashed it last week. He is checking. He still hasn't decided on a price for me. Thanks for all the help Wally
