Well, today I got an email from Kathleen, and the spinner face is done.needless to say,I think it turned out great.next step will be to pick it up,and get it reinstalled on the body.now, you have to consider that it's kinda difficult to take pictures of a mirror,as other things are reflected it.when I first looked at them on my iPhone,it was difficult to really see the details.at home on my pc,it became much easier to see the work, but you still have to study them a bit.hope you like em! I know I do,and I can't wait to see it in person.
Here is the original face

And the new one

The different angles show different detail, but when you look at them as a whole, you can tell how closely they matched the original. Last but not least, the date.

The double numbers are an illusion caused by the mirror.taking the picture straight on introduced the camera into the picture.it is permanently scribed into the glass.
I am hoping to meet with Kathleen in the next couple days,to pick up the original face, and the two new lenses that were made.one is mine, and one is going to Portland,Oregon .A big thank you to Kathleen Shalk and Art Glass Chicago .you did a great job!the next, and last post will be a video of the spinner in motion with the new face!
