I think the seller should have spent a little time cleaning it and giving it a good coat of wax. Either way looks like he is getting Good $$$$ for it.

Dave brought the can to a SWAP MEET 2 weeks ago & no one bothered to give Dave an offer. Dave offered it to me for $500. It is NOT the kind of LION I am after ... I prefer the RED LION one( done on lenses).
At any rate, Dave was so happy he got $2200 since it will be divided 3 ways (uncle had 3 nephews).
In my case, lesson learned! I will refrain from asking VALUE Q's from now on. I will let the e-something set the price!

It is NOT the kind of LION I am after ... I prefer the RED LION one( done on lenses) The only RED LION GILMORE qt out there is a FANTASY Can that I make. GILMORE NEVER made one. Click link in my signature, then look near bottom [50-E].

db, Thanks for the heads up! Great work on that FANTASY art work. That is a killer art work. I only collect 5-GAL Rocker cans – mainly restored & logos hand painted. The RED LION can was done 2 year ago & enjoying it!
