I have seen interest in the short time that I have been here for display cases that are built from old lubesters. I recently made one that I would like to see if anyone would like one custom made with specific colors or needs. These are very nice pieces when completed. All automotive grade paint used. I would love your feedback. I am also open to trades for pumps or other items. These would range in price starting at around $1000.

The lubester looks great. The detail in the shelving area shows that you do really nice work. I just feel unless you can reach the top end collectors (read:$$$$), it is going to be hard to get an acceptable return on your time and inputs. Just my input!

Looks great, but price would kill alot of people. We did these years ago and could not get our money out of them. The paint had to be show car quality and It had to be something more than anyone else had. Its tough for lubsters unless someone comes up with another unique Idea. Good job though on this.

I looked so I will add, very nice work. Think at the price you probably would sell all you could make in the right setting. Maybe a trip to Barrett Jackson, where there is no shortage of funds. Know there is a lot of work to building, but it will be a limited market.

Very nice, quality work. I agree with the majority, that it will be difficult to get potential buyers to step up to the plate and part with that kinda money.

It looks awesome. I would love to have one like that because it would be great but I agree with everyone else on the price. Thanks for sharing

Look into sandblasting and powder coating, a lot cheaper.

The one you have there is really nice the problem is the items you could display wouldnt be very many maybe if the cabinet was bigger one of the larger lubsters then maybe the price would be in line but your work is excellant

Sandblasting and powder coating is cheaper and could be a option if that is what someone would like to do.

Harvey I can build you a bigger one for what ever item you would like to fit in it. Thank you for the compliments.

I think where the problem lies here is most guys on this site can make their own lubster with shelves and lights,, we usually pay $25-$50 for the lubester and to cut the side out and put some shelves in it and a light is not all that hard. The market your after is guys who work in an office that are looking for something to stick in their rec room and don't have the ability to make one of these or at a Barrett Jackson auction where people have lots of money to spend.. Just my opinion....
