As soon as an item show up on TV, it shows up on ebay for an ungodly asking price.

I don't know how to attach a past thread on a similar topic, but on 9/8/11, thermoman seemed to be an expert on vintage thermometers. Take a look.

At any rate, I saw a similar condition Mail Pouch therm sell for $110 at my local antique store.
