I picked up this binder at a local estate sale today. The estate belonged to a former service station owner. He operated a Sinclair/Fina/BP station from the 1930s-1970s. To make a long story short, there was very little Gas/Oil items there. Other than a few promotional key chains, ice scrapers, and reciept books, the only interesting item there was this Sinclair Lubrication Index. It's copyright date is 1930 and the cars date from 1930-1947. There are several great pictures and interesting information on the various tricks and tips of car lubrication. My question is, was there a training film made to accompany the book? The pink inserts appear to follow a film of some sort. Does this film exist and have any of you seen the footage? Just curious! Below are a few pictures of the book. It was in an outside storage shelter and was quite roachy. I've cleaned it as best I could.
