Been on the road for a week now, weaved my way from florida up to Philly and hit about 6 collections on the way. seen some amazing stuff, and met a bunch of oldgassers that i've known on here, but never met. this is a great community! here's some of what i got this week. The Goodrich is heavy paper, the 2 banners are cloth, the RCA piece has some killer colors and is painted metal and the "coast to coast" piece is reverse painted glass and heavy as can be. seems to be a back plate for a pinball machine, the Vulcan is tin. and last, the Exide glass battery is dated 1948. love that! if anyone knows anything about glass batteries, i'd love to hear about it. chuck

I find batteries like that in the farm dump where I dig up bottles.

Those batteries sell well. The ladies use them for planters. You do not need a complete battery.

Chuck.....looks like youll be able to sell it as a flower pot...lol. just throw the inards away and presto!! You have an easy eBay sell

Did I mention that both of the ones I found were broken?

Picked up a neat old Boyle Dayton pump with original nozzle.Love the old original look.Will just clean it up and leave as is.

Mark--What a neat find! I'd leave it as is too! Very tough to find them in that kind of condition! Great find!

Nozzle is rare, but to find it w/ the correct pump is even rarer.
