Just a thought...

Good idea Nicole...but Mr. Wadhams was Edward A Wadhams. He died in 1916.

I would think FV has to do with some of the Fullers Earth they refer to on the can. Maybe some sort of unique process for Wadhams? Everyone had their miracle marketing message. Fullers earth pulls out impurities in and has a myriad of other uses like kitty litter.

Stopped to look at a trailer and got to talking with the old guy. I told him what I'm always looking for and a bit later in the conversation he told me hes got an old pump laying back in the woods. Here she is. A G&BT8 I'm going to call her "Bertha".

Nice find with the globe holding pedestal!!...that really makes this pump have visual appeal. A big majority you find don't have it.

The old timer said he bought the property in 1976 and the pump was laying there then, and who knows how long before that. The side that was laying on the ground isnt even rusted through.Rescued her just in time. Really complete other than the hose/nozzle and the lower access door. Its got a 7 inch globe mount. I cant tell if shes ugly or gorgeous. Kinda both.I'm really liking her.
