To me...The grommets look really, really shiny.......and if that dripping stuff on the back is just oil or something and was wiped off....well......the back would be very clean.

The 2 I have look the same on the back as the one on ebay. Looks real to me. Nicest one I have seen for sale.

they are not White, they are more of a cream color.

I imagine that's dried paint on the back from when someone painted a pump with the sign on it. Someone probably has cleaned the front side of the sign with steel wool, and shined the grommets accidentally in the process. I know I have done that to a sign or two. The sign looks legit to me. Nice sign!
