Hello everyone. I stumbled across these items today and was wondering if someone would tell me their worth. I am new to this hobby and I am hoping to learn from the experts. The owner of these items gave me a price and I just want to make sure I am spending my money wisely.

Mobil 57 inch electric sign. $500.00

Fire Chief Model 390 Gas Boy gas pump. $800.00

Texaco 35 inch electric sign(no picture sorry) $250.00

Wayne gas pump $600.00

Texaco tire display(the owner had no idea what it is worth).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Marvin

FYI, I paid 300 delivered on my Shell Gas Boy. It was restored too. Also, it was only 50 or 60 bucks to ship it Greyhound...That made the deal for me...I thought it would be 200 for shipping.

Wayne gas pump--$400
Mobil sign------$250 (common)
Gasboy----------$250--pump plates +$120 each plate if not repop
Tire display--don't know

Just my opinion!

My opinions:

Wayne pump--$300 - $350 (kinda beat?)
Mobil Sign--$100-$150 (stained?)
Gasboy---$250 - $300 (with the reproduction sign)

I'm pretty much with Jim on these.
Pump $300
The Mobil sign - we had a pile of those several years ago. I sold a few for $100 and gave away like 8 of them to friends.
Gasboys around here fairly common too. $200 - $250.

I agree w/ Jim also.
Seller has been watching too much TV Rick's Resto & pickers.

Check the Date in bottom right corner of FIRE-CHIEF sign, anything after 196? is a Repop.

...it's got a black outline around the T - it's a repro...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
