Since value questions seem to be dominant these days and he is asking for value as trading stock,I think a little more definition might help.

Alex, wnen did you pay $450?And,always,are you valueing to flip or to keep?

I ask the questions because while I am fully aware that location has an impact,I'll tell you that out here,if the other side is that good, you won't get that sign at retail for less than $800 and up depending on close up inspection.

I think this may well be my second post on values. The other one was on a 6'Texaco also.I'm just saying to tell the guy tha time frame and objective when giving these values.

Hi: Bought mine last year near Spokane, WA. for my collection. (No, it wasn't Hillside Shortleg here on Oldgas..LOL) Guy is/was a collector and set the price. I agree they range on these can be wide. Not unusual to see them go for $800. Biggest challenge to sell these is they take up a whole lot of wall space.

I deleted some comments that were not appropriate responses to the topic. I inadvertently deleted the rewsponse from Carolionaskies.....so here it is.

Here in SC figure on wholesale between volume dealers being $450-650 average trade value. If you're talking collector trading then $800 minimum and likely to want more being Texaco. If your Union sign is similar or worse condition figure on having to definitely boot some cash on the deal and even if your union is very nice I'd expect to have to sweeten the deal somewhat.

Or just search this sign as a completed listing......not sure why you need a value on the most common 6ft sign in existence

see me at Mason Dixon Gas, Spring Carlisle M114-115, and Hershey C4E-35.
