I have a salesman sample as I have been told. It is a case of oils and grease and has the maker name Kendal on it. The case measures 15 inches wide and 17 high and 5 1/2 inches deep. Does anyone know the age, what is worth and if it has any desire for purchase. The number on the metal tag is 294.

Picture still doesn't work, but I'm sure someone would want it.

Salesman Samples, have been selling for sums ranging from $15 upwards of the mid three figure range... Depending on condition of the case, how complete the case is, how extensive the case is (some cases are bare-bones while others carry the full gambit of products). Also it matters what Oil Company the Sample Case came from...

Archer Oil is not as desirable as say Mobil... Mobil is not as desirable as say... Associated Oil. It has been my observation that the "run of the mill" Kendall Oil Sample Case is not high on the value scale... But once the photo is displayed, we will have a better idea of value.....

If you send me a PM, I will send you my email address and if you like I will post your photos of the sample case for you....

Just this weekI sold 4 sample kits to Rev. Jim Snare, of Montazuma, Iowa. A complete Wm. Penn, A complete Enarco, A complete Mobiloil and a partial Linco and a single Smacko bottle. He advertises in Check The Oil mag. and is a serious collector. Like Bob says, some are so plentiful they are not worth much.

I would say that would be closer to the top of the spectrum of prices. Another factor is the condition of the case.

The case is in real good condition except a little wear on the corners. One glass vile is missing otherwise it is clean and labels are all good on bottles. Thank You

There is a guy who advertises in the back of the CTO Mags that he purchases Salesman's kits. I believe he is located in Iowa, otherwise, put the item on eBay for $9.99 and the world will tell you what it is worth.
