I was working on my Wayne 60 last night and trying to figure out how to remove the sight glass nut without garring the aluminum nut. Being impatient & as frugel as I am I decided to try my oil filter wrench instead of ordering the right tool from a vendor.

I have a Mac Tools kind that opens up like jaw pliers. I wrapped a rag around the nut and easy as can be the nut spun loose. It did not leave a mark at all and the nut was very tight.

Just thought I'd share a new trick with you guys. Most of you probably have this in your box anyway.

Cool info...I was lucky enough to recently have won a wayne 60 spanner wrench ( I think they are called that) on Ebay

I got it for like 8 bucks or so...i dont know how much they are worth but I was willing to pay that...not that I have alot of Wayne 60's but thought it was worth it.
