The Indy Ad show is this weekend at the State Fairground. Early buyers allowed in on Fri. at 2:00. Show is now Sat. only 9-6 NO Sunday! Not tons of gas and oil (except my booth!) Very cool show if you like \collect advertising. Many new vendors this year. Hope to see a few oldgassers.

I just checked and it looks like the Collectors Caravan is the same weekend. I think it is more of a flea market

The Caravan used to be really good-a compliment to go with the great Ad Show. I found some really good stuff there. I hope that someone will take some pictures and post them of Indy. I remember the anticipation waiting in line Sat. morning to get into the Ad Show. Really the early bird Fri. kind of makes it tough for the working stiffs to get a shot at the "cherry" selections. I'm sure that when I retire, I will like the Thurs. and Fri. early opportunities at the various shows. Greg do you know about how many dealers are scheduled for the show?

They said 97 in the last email from the promoters. Also said 100+ early bird tickets were sold. I'm looking forward to the new format. I hear in the old days this was THE show to attend. They are trying hard to get it back to it's former glory. I usually find something cool to bring home.
