I picked up a Bennett High-Boy Lubester today.

Is there anything special about this model I should know???

I have 2 glass cylinder lubesters that I purchased here on Old Gas, that have Bennett High Boy decals on the sides, but no cast cover like yours! I believe that LC336 recently started restoring one like yours. Nothing special about it, other than it would make a really cool display case because of the height! I really like the cast cover!

I like the Bennett high boy lid. I picked up three lubsters last weekend with the same cast lids. The pumps are not like yours. The ones I bought have glass cylinders.

Before Bennett made its first gas pumps, they were long in the business of lube and oil equipment business. The started making this type of unit in the late 1920s and was still making them in the 1950s.
