That is a nice pump Jim, I have one and it is the heaviest pump I have ever moved, all cast top and bottom.
Thanks, Phil _________________________________________________ Looking for any old pumps, or nice 5 gallon cans.

Heavy is right! Most of the invoices have these pumps listed at 950 pounds net weight...and that's without all of the fittings!!!
If the pump has the "hips" like this one, it basically has a solid steel plate at the bottom and in the middle!

He contacted me the other day and I gave him an idea of market. Nice guy.
From: Val Jark Phone: (605) 225-1828 E-mail: jarkauction@nvc.net Message: We are an auction company in South Dakota and have a visible gas pump on an upcoming sale. We have not seen anything like this one and am wondering where or how to find out information. We do have pictures that we can send. We have searched the internet as well as a gas station memorabilia book and cannot match it up. We will check with other sites as well. Any suggestions that you may have would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

We searched the web , ect., ect, and cannot find anything on this pump. How about pages 243 of the my Gas Pump book?
Personally, I would be interested in purshasisng this pump. Will there be anyone there that will possibly going to Iowa Gas and can deliver it? Also, where could they delive it ?

I just heard from Mr. Jark that the pump will not be included in the Proxibid part of the auction. If you are seriously interested, contact Mr. Jark directly through his Web site to encourage him to add it to the Proxibid list. Otherwise you'll have to attend in person. http://www.jarkworlie.com/Jack, I think you should go to the auction in person. And take a picture of the pump sticking out of the side window of your car. We love that stuff!
