FINALLY!
A genuine T-53 pegasus for all the ill informed people to see who have bought the small fakes. This is the one they SHOULD have been putting their money into! Ebay item # 270833386301
This sign isn't mine as if it were it wouldn't be for sale smile , but I wanted to point out to some of the newer collectors visiting the site that this style of sign is the only known original type with the T-53 designation. All of the smaller flat signs with the T-53 date are modern reproductions/fakes. They are all left facing as well.
This one is a nice sign, I hope an Old Gasser gets it!

Ya know????---It doesn't have the T-53 designation on the belly area, and the only one that I've ever seen that actually had the T-53 on it, was the same size in a NEON! Any one else know anything about this??

Kevin, I do believe the 8th photo does show the "T-53" on the belly. I think you missed that photo, by chance?

No comparison of this one to the flat Fantasy ones marked T-53.
This is a cookie cutter vs the smaller Fantasy ones are Flat one sided & have no mounting holes.

In nice condition like that, I've seen them sell from $2500 to $4000. I know thats a broad range but thats the range that I've seen them fall into!

The right facing is the most desireable. This is a nice one. I can clearly see it going for 3000.00 +

The more I look at that sign the more I like it.......

If I wasnt looking at buying a couple pumps right now, I would try and get it.

Heck I may try anyway it would look nice in my garage.

I was thinking if this sign doesn't bring $2250+ I'd be suprised. A nice example for sure. I see it hasn't moved in price for a few days and ends today. LC 336, I hope you might be able to snag it, it could go reasonable as auctions listed as "pick up only" don't get the same bids in my opinion that the ones that will ship do.

I've been having an email conversation with a person in Italy that has a small fantasy T-53 listed on ebay. I informed him of the fantasy status of his sign and he was totally suprised and was concerned enough that he has done considerable research on it and isn't convinced yet but at least he is open minded and willing to listen! The ebay number is 180746454787
and it is the one with the T-53 designation in a sort of "script" type font.
If we continue to keep letting these sellers know the real truth and keep pressuring Ebay, we might actually get somewhere. I HOPE!
