Looks like about 6"-8" cut off from the bottom of the hip sides and about 10"-12" cut from the top side pannels. A normal Wayne 60 is about 6 feet tall. By my calculations this one is between 16" to 20" shorter or between 52" to 56". So I guess it is over 4 feet but not by alot. What is the actual height?

At first I thought this was a low profile aviation pump.( Low for wing clearance) But has a globe mount, and I don't think any aviation pump would have a globe on top, and then how would they measure the fuel. All the short aviation pumps Iv seen had a computer on them.

You are probably not far off a gentleman came over and looked at it today and said they had one just like it at a airfield here locally and it was serviced by Texaco. He said there was no need for the computer because the hose had a counter on it that measured how much fuel went into the plane.

Yes upon further inspection you are correct it was cut down chris.

I never noticed it till you said that, it looks like it was done a long time ago.

OMG! WHY OH WHY would someone do that to a Wayne 60 pump? See how they have the nozzle into the top part because they cut so much off the bottom. It was not made that way. A really cheap way to get a Wayne. Good luck selling it.

This is what a short Wayne 60 looks like...

This is a cut down Wayne 60.

I wonder if that makes it a Wayne 30?

I won't make a comment that if they do a re-make of the "Wizard of OZ" right there they have 3 that can fill the places of some Munchkins. The 3 that ran the local gas station.

I guess I/we, owe an explanation here, for hijacking this thread. That last pic is Dick Bennett, Mick (Oldandfuelish)Dischda, and myself, at Iowa Gas a few years ago. BTW, I'm the good looking guy on the right.

So back to the original post now. Texacokie, is that pump still for sale? And if so, for how much?

Let's make bids that are significant increments in the price. A one dollar increment over a $500 bid is either silly or at least not serious.
