some may remember this 70 i got from tee tee a while back

lots of guys liked it as is,and so did i.but it needed a little bit of dressing up.so......1st thing i did was give it a good cleaning and then a bit of wet sanding with some 1000.then removed the chrome for cleaning.bit of wax,bit of polish, and several hours of elbow grease.then i needed some addglass and signage.our good friend oltoydoc was kind enough to send me some images of his original firestone addglass and signs.since i didnt want this to be too high dollar,i used plexiglass that i had(and you wonder why you save stuff)and then i printed my stuff to size on good qaulity photo paper.let it dry and then cleared it.glued to back of plexiglass, and viola..homemade addglass.the pump sign is the same thing.now i didnt want these to look pristine, and they came out better than i thought they would.(with a little help from db also)heres what i came up with.actually looks alot better lit up than pics show. all the parts are original now i know i wont get a million bucks for it at b-j,but it looks good in my garage!!thanks to don sherwood,db and kevin frith for all the help!! mick

Mick,
You should be proud of that, very nice work! Love the original look. Takes the way you first got it and transforms it into a totally cool look.
