Here are my buys of late. First off the Mobil additions. The window spray bottle from Ebay is out of an original case, still in the cellophane wrap. I've always liked them as they are very art deco styled. I've also waited a while to get this version Mobilgloss pint in this nice of condition. And while not at all rare, this was the first opportunity I had to buy the gallon Mobiloil can from the early 60's. Both cans ended really cheap, and I'm very happy with them. Next up are these Mobil chaps from the 1950's. I collect western/cowboy items as well, so they were a great crossover item for me. I told my friends I had to own these as they were perfect for both my collections! I know from old magazines I have from Socony Vacuum that they used to market themselves every way they could. I don't doubt for a minute these were probably made for a parade/show or a bull rider sponsorship. I also bought my second pump. I got it from a customer that I've known for probably 10 years. I knew she and her husband had a farm, so when she was in Tuesday I asked her if they ever had a pump. She said, "Yeah, it's in the barn. We had a garage sale a couple weeks ago, a couple guys looked at it, but no one bought it." I asked if it was still for sale and she said come on down! This is what I found. A nice, very solid and complete Tokheim 39. It was in the barn for 30 years and one bill bought it. I think it was originally a Standard pump. Red on the inside and my pump plate fits the hole pattern! She also gave me the cans I found in the other 5 barns. (now I have 2 Gulf cow spray cans) It was a great time visiting with Vera as well, and it's nice to have a pump that I know where it came from. Have a good one all, Darin
