Hello - I am attempting to restore a
Wayne model 60 pump. It is a working
pump and was last used to dipense kerosene.
I have taken almost all of the sheet metal
off except for the top - I cannot get the
outer nuts off of the sight glasses.
Yes, I bought the wrench and welded a
1/2" handle to it for extra "purchase" but
cannot loosen these nuts. ANY suggestions
would be appreciated. In the meantime I will
post some pics and have some appearance
questions. Thanks for any help.

I recently did one and used a long piece of pipe on the wrench. I'm talking 3 or 4 feet long. Keep pulling down with more force and hopefully the nuts will break loose. [careful not to tip the pump over]
If the site glasses are OK I wouldn't try getting them seperated from the nuts. That will probably be impossible.
