Outer sleeve chains are connected to cast iron Sash Weights w/ a wheel at top of each pipe that also holds the top casting.

How tall is this monster? How much does it weigh?

Lance, I helped a guy move one of these years ago and I think you're optimistic on the 300lb est. Seemed more like 500, cool piece

Here is one in use to give you an idea of size, I guess it's more than 60", and I think Neil is right about the weight, looks heavy!

IF it weighs over 350# I'd be surprised. The matching Pump [AERO], might be close to 350#, more bulky than heavy.
Closer to 74-78" on one in picture.
