In reply to fees on Ebay,,, ebay fees 9% plus paypal 3% still cheaper than putting stuff in an auction and this way you have control if it sells.. Standard auctions fees will be 15% to 25% depending on how much your selling..

E-BAY IS BEST AVENUE WE HAVE IN MOST CASES TO GET OUR STUFF OUT TO THE MOST PEOPLE.SELLERS NEED TO DEMAND INSURANCE ON ITEM OR DAMAGED IN SHIPPING CREATES MAJOR AND EXPENSIVE PROBLEMS FOR SELLER.

I just sold a Gulf Globe on ebay and have tried to contact the buyer with no response. it has been I believe a week now with no contact. Only had this happen once before and the guy waited till the last day to say that he paid and I lost his money. Any thoughts on how to either get the money, get rid of the ebay fee, or leave him neg feed back?
Thanks Craig

go to your ebay, find item, click at right side, open case for non payment. Ebay will contact them and usually they pay. If they dont ebay will refund your fees.

I was also prepared to bid in the second auction when right near the end the bid shot up with a jack hole bidder with 0 feedback was high bidder. This auction was a total scam in my opinion. Hopefully Karma will take care of these rip-offs

CRAIGSLIST is the way to go. Free and you get the exposure you need. I listed a couple clunker signs I did not want anymore and had people from all over calling me. Most using craigslist will search in other cities for what they are looking for. My hope is that one day you will not have to search by city and can search the whole site by keywords.

Just a matter of time IF it hasn't happened already, w/ ebay & PP there is a paper trail [electronic] of what seller has sold that will be reported to states for Tax collection. With this economy it just might be retro active back a few years, lawmakers need all the revenue they can get to give themselves a raise or better retirement!
