I was hoping the Independent sign was going to be a sleeper.....now the cat's out of the bag! (Kidding). As usual, looking forward to the auction.

We are just back from Barrett Jackson, Palm Beach and NO we bought nothing. Those of you that get the PCM magazine I'm sure saw the short statment that Ron Bettin put in about the prices at the Arizona Barrett show in January. It was VERY well put. However, that said, you have to be there in person and watch people spend "stupid money". Probably the most crazy item I saw during the time I sat there was very standard traffic signal that someone had put on a short pedistal, would have gone at one of our Gas sales for $300 to $500...guess what, $5,000 plus buyers fee for a total of $5500. There were very few really nice items and we just wern't going to sit through all the really bad junk and I do mean junk, to see what crazy prices they got. The car auction was the most fun as well as the midway. You gotta go one time if possible
