Well I finally manged to get my first ECO 97 air meter. I will be restoring it and putting it to use in my garage. It was working when bought in a local garage. The pics show the start of the disassemble. I was quite pleased to see the internals are in great shape..just really dusty. I searched to see if there were any ECO restoration threads in the archives but did not find any. Is anyone aware of links to aid in my restoration of this ?. Howdo I tell what year this is from? I will post more pics as I go along. Cheers

Good first meter to start with. Easy to get parts and lot's of info on them. Just watch your budget. Chrome and other little odds and ends add up.I was lucky enough to pick up my 97 for a good price- if I did not get it for that price- I would have had way to much money invested in to it. Enjoy the meter!!

Just intend to get the inards all cleaned up and a fresh coat of paint, which I will do. I will replace the chrome. I got it at a great price so not worried. It will be then hooked to the compressor and be a working unit again.

Well the restoration has proceeded quicker than It usually takes me to complete projects. All parts have been stripped and cleaned. I go so excited about the progress that I painted the first coat on the frame housing before taking the photos. The rest of the parts will be painted today.
