...what'd you do - knock it over?

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Wes:

To make it easier - what size is the base and what diameter is the top and what is the overall height?

Later . . .

Yes the auctioneers were moving it with the globe intact and it fell off,,, it was a repro anyway so I told them to go to a lighting store pickup a glass kitchen light or whatever and take it to their local sign painter and get them to either letter it or do it in vinyl,,,, thanks guys,,, they asked me to look after it for them so I let them take care of it the easy way.. thanks for your help..

...good to know it was just a repro...the base on that meter looks so small, it looks like it would keel over if you looked at it hard...seems like I've seen those repros on eBay before...

According to my Air Meter Globe Identification section of my Air Meter ID book, the globe shown above is not the one shown on the ECO 46 original literature. The above globe appears to have been used on a Air Scale meter, some ECO meters and on a Gladiator air meter. The style globe used on the 46 is also shown on the 40 on the cover of my book, it had replaceable lens.
My assumption is that the globes were probably purchased from a company that made globes.
I went through all my Model 38 Series ECO literature and none of it give any dimentions for the globe.
