Where did you get the pic from?
That's Camp Bowie Blvd in Fort Worth Texas.
Lucilles is the restaurant.

Some guy has a really cool Sinclair station with that sign.

Nice picture. The Sinclair "triple check" logo was designed by Deskey in Cinncinatti Ohio. Their web site, "Deskey.com" has a list of some of the brands they designed art work for over the years. Their web site showes a Sinclair station in 1956 with the squared off version of the triple check sign. I was contacted by Beth at their company. They are having an exhibit in Cinncy for I believe their 100th anniversary. They borrowed one of dads 6 foot triple check signs for the display. The round triple check sign was made in both 48 and 60 inch sizes. I have seen several of the 6 footers, two of the 4 foot ones and only pictures of the squared off version. I know one of the squared off ones did sell last year to a fellow Old Gasser.

Dads are not for sale..

Here is a little of the history, the way I understand it. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I believe it was 1958 when Sinclair rebranded about 50 stations with the triple check logo in 3 cities, Salt Lake City being one of them. The public's response to the new logo was less than positive and the logo was abandoned less than a year later in favor of the new Dino logo.

I know a guy in Idaho that had a triple check that is trapazoid shaped.

Woody, that is a Beeline sign behind it.
