I just read the Gas Pump Collectors Guide and it seems vague regarding they Tok 300's. According to the book 300 models were produced in 1955 with 350 twin models produced in 1956. I cannot find anything regarding the pump I own, which is a 1956 Model 300. It is not a twin model as the book suggests. I have also seen several restored 300's from 1949 on websites. Does anyone know if the book had a typo?
Also I am trying to find out information regarding a Sky Chief Sign topper from 1956. I am enclosing a photo. Please let me know if anyone has seen these and if they are available. If so would like to buy one.

You may have misinterpeted the books info. The Tolkheim 300 was produced in 1955, with twins production starting in 1956. The single 300 was still being produced also. You could have the single or twin pump at this time. I have never heard of a 300 dated 1949. These were the Tolkheim 39's. If you have actually seen one with a dated ID tag, the tag probably came off a 39 with model number alteration, or a new tag has had the
date stamped into it.
