Just finished the second restoration this year of a 1937 Wayne Model 866. I would like to personally thank Ron Scobie, Dave Wilson, Ted Lamont, Michael Slama and a host of other artisans and friends who worked on this pump and supplied parts to restore it. This pump turned out much nicer than even the first one and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do!

Here is a link to pictures of the pump on Flickr:

Achieving this light green color was a real job. At first when the panels came back, I was certain about the color ... and the paint cost a fortune. But as the pump came together the color matched the light green in the parrots feathers perfectly and is a great contrast color to the black and brilliant colors of the Polly logo.

I restored two Polly pumps this year, both of which were extensively photographed and featured on FlickR. Regarding the Light Green Polly Pump (http://www.flickr.com/photos/vaultgarage/sets/72157625214954810/) - The color code for this particular Polly pump (and the grease pump) matches the color from a 1978 Porsche Model 928. The color is called “Lindgrün Metallic” or “Lind-Grün Metallic”. The Glasurit paint code is "275".

There are actually three different shades of green in the logo if you close enough. This particular shade is the lightest of the greens. If you have a globe from this brand, this would be the green band that circles the perimeter of the glove.

Hope this helps!

Great job from a fellow Polly Gas pumps collector. Nice colors, a slight change from the darker green, I like it!
