We went to pick up the truck that I had bought last weekend and I thought some of you might enjoy pictures of it out in the daylight being loaded onto the trailer! I thought it was a 1927, but it turned out to be a 1928 and the title calls it a 1/2 ton truck. It looks to me like there was a place for rear fenders to be attached and that this was probably a 1/2 ton pickup that someone put a grain box on? It has 6 by 20 single tires and maybe that was a big truck back then? Anyone know? Whatever it is, its in great shape with only 1 flat and the motor turns over fine. I'm going to try and get it running as soon as possible! Enjoy the pics!!!

That's a sweet truck! It'll look good with a pump or two in the back. Great find.

That is one sweet ride. I can almost picture such a truck delivering items to local Cities Service stations in the late 20s up to end of WWII.

That's cool. Doesn't look like it even needs any real restoration. Probably be better without it.

Very cool. Now you can start a truck garden and start hauling produce to town.

An old truck is an old truck, no matter what brand. That's a beauty and a 1/2 ton to boot. It's probably rare anyway because of the year, but a 1/2 ton could be even more rare. Not a lot of these trucks survived, because they were used until fell apart and then either left to rot or hauled off for scrap. If I were you, I'd leave it as is. Just get the truck running and tuned. You'll turn heads anywhere with it. I had a similar situation when I found a 1937 Chrysler Airflow sitting in a garage for 10 years. It was about 10 miles from me. Four years ago when found. A few months ago.
