I aquired a National Pump, clockface, model 40, sn 4038. Where can I find info on this pump? It appears to have had a Phllips 66 shield (decal} on 2 sides. Can anyone date this for me, or send a pic of a restored one in Phillips colors. Is the mounting diameter of the globe one size, or is there a variety for different makes? Any help will be appreciated. Thanx Ed

Edward, The model 40 is very rare. I think it's National's best looking clockface. The pump was made between 1932 and 1935. If you would consider selling the pump, give me a call... In twenty plus years of collecting, I've had less than a dozen people mention this pump. or the model 30. The model 90 is fairly common. Ron Scobie rscobie@gaspump.com
