Got lots of goodies, that's for sure. I am impressed with the railroad water tank. Makes me think of the beginning of "Petticoat Junction".

Badgas... I get out to San Jose pretty frequently on business (long haul from Maryland!) is that right in SJ? Would be cool to see.

Actually, I think that where it's at is in Los Gatos.

You can look at through the fence. The guy that owns everything is not always friendly.

Ah yes, I have a friend who lives in Los Gatos. It looks like it is right on a major street!? Any other petro sights I should see out there if I get a few seconds away from the office?

You should visit Bill Stevens' (sp?) shop in San Jose. It's off of Almaden near downtown

You're welcome to stop by my house as well next time you're in town. I'll show you my measly petro collection and maybe even take you for a ride in my 37 Chrysler Airflow. smile

I have delt with Bill Stevens. I bought eight pumps and some parts from him. Sometimes he was great to deal with and other times not. I used to live five minutes from him and now over two hours. I have not been by his place in about two years.

You mean Kohlweiss Auto Parts guy? Kohlweiss Auto Parts image gallery Another great place to visit. It's in Redwood City.

A few months ago I sold some parts to his son, who was building a Dodge coupe rat rod. His son and I were talking and he told me that his dad has stopped buying petro related signs because he ran out of room at the store. His dad also has another warehouse full of signs.

I try not to buy from or sell to him. He buys low and resells really high. I think he also has a storage facility in Morgan Hill where he keeps the rest of his stuff that doesn't fit in the shop.
