I am looking for a large Mobil Peagus Horse- I have seen one on ebay go for $1600. I would like to get an original but the repro fiberglass ones seem to be in my budget. Where can I get the repop ones or does anyone have an original for sale??

Thanks

The most valuable commodity I know of is information-Wall Street

I'm sure you have probably seen this seller on Ebay, item number 250631546129. I bought one of these from him, a nice older gentleman who lives about 45 minutes away, so I picked it up directly and had a nice visit with him. It's funny to me how he doesn't mention Mobil anywhere in the description, probably so he doesn't infringe on the trademark. Not that the Flying Red Horse itself isn't a trademark, but he's not advertising it as a Mobil item! Gotta watch it these days, lol! But really the quality of this sign was good and it looks nice on the wall. Everyone who comes in asks where I got it, and have no idea as non-collectors that it isn't a genuine sign. SOMEDAY I'll have an original porcelain one........
