This one is going to be fun to watch.I think we are about to test the theory that the good rare stuff is holding it's value.Personally,I don't think they will pull those numbers. If they do I may have to go back into pumps.LOL

He's been listing pumps now and then for over a year and has not sold one yet. Last time he listed he had a restored Starkey coin op and it made it to just over $3000. He wants over $17.000 for it on his website.
Wants $14,300 for the 800 and $15,800 for the double. Good pumps never sell on Ebay.

Ain't no doubt, he be da man! Drool and slobber all over the keyboard. And some people thought I wanted too much for a Wayne 60S at $3500,restored. More than awesome pumps.

When looking at his prices alot of people think that they are just way over priced. In fairness they are really right on for the work that was done to them with all the plating and detail of quality of paint. Just go buy a high dollar pump unrestored and then try to do the quality job for less than 3ooo-4000, paint alone now in reds shades are really up there. Hope he gets what he wants and thus keeping the market for these beautiful pumps up.

Restored pumps have always been (and will probably always be) hard to sell. It is pretty tough to get all of the money you put into a restored pump back out of it.

Those are some nice looking pumps in a nice setting. I restored a couple of pumps and took quite a hit on them and will never a restore another. BUT I do like the farmers restore job. A 5" wide paint brush and wearing my reader glasses. Maybe smokin some ribs (thanks for the tip Bob) and doing some painting on a Sunday. Does anyone have a 850 Tokhiem I can get cheap, this weekend is open?
