Is there another source for the cylinders for visible pumps. I hate to pay $200 for an acrylic one, and sure as heck not going to pay $600+ for a glass one. Anyone ever find a cheaper alternative?

Travis @ 1 time was going to get aquarium cylinders, never did know whether he was able to or not.

Could just use a rock/hail guard w/o a cylinder.

Yep - I was trying them but they break WAY to easy - broke 2 of them just putting the top on - after they cut the glass to size it messed up the temper somehow, and they would basicly blow up with a little pressure.

so now:

This is what I use - 100 bucks - NO one knows any different.

Thanks guys. Dick I like the "rock/hail guard w/o a cylinder" idea, that would work nicely. Kinda leaning towards the Weber Cylinder for $105. I'm not a tightwad, just cant see spending that kind of money for a piece of plastic.

Put a Bug Zapper inside & make a cone for bottom so bugs will slide out to were birds can eat them.
