Can anyone tell me what the primary gasoline brands were for Southern California in the 50's-60's.

Great Link there Bob ! I looked it over and saw two of my favorites , the Shell shaped Shell in Winston Salem North Carolina and the Castle station in Kansas . Both are spectacular representations of Amercan Ketch archecture . Ed Shaver

They may not have been a "primary"brand,but I think Whiting Brothers had a significant presence on 66 out in the desert during your time frame. The California guys will know.
