I found a Eco Islander Air/Water Unit today with no rectangle meter head on it. There was on the top of the unit a broken 1/4 cast partial round ring that extended upwards. What I would like to know is did they make a Eco Islander that would of had a round cast circle on top of the unit that might have held a pair of lenses like a globe that would say Air & Water on it? Or might the broken cast piece be the start of the the ring that surrounds the rectangle meter head?
Also would like to know what this unit might be worth without the top portion of it. I might be able to trade something for it.
Thanks, Bill

From your description, its hard to tell what you have? In my opinion, you have some parts and thats it. As for value, the quickest would be to look at the web site of one of the many dealers that supply repro parts for these things and see how the new parts are priced and value yours accordingly. Jack Sims is a big supplier of these parts and he even has literature for sale that describes parts and repairs and such!

It held 2 porcelain signs in the circle AIR WATER, approx. 8".
Go to Jack Sim's web site for ECO.

I even have available a 22 minute film titled "ISLANDER" that was put out by the Bennett Pump Co. around 1954.
