Went to visit a guy this morning when he called about the stop lights in another post. He also had these pumps and would like to sell them all at one time if possible hoping to get his money back. I have no idea if he is high or low in his figures. He wanted to know if anyone might buy them all and was going to add up what he had in them. He is 75 and did most of them in the 90's up to 5 years ago. What is a realistic number to tell him. Repop globes except for the crown. Has stainless trim a friend custom made for the Sinclair pump. Any help is appreciated even if it's only on one or two. Thanks, Greg

The Bennett 76 would be the most valued pump in the lot. I would think restored it would be worth around $1300 the others not as much. The farm pump $100 tops. JM2C smile

I guess I'll take a crack at it...by my quick estimate the package should be around $7,000-$7,500. I would consider this a realistic, private party price. If the guy wanted to piece them out and was fine with advertising them all over the place, he could obviously get more. The shorter restored pumps are only worth on average $700 or so, the Bowser and Tok. 39, $1200 more or less, and I'd put the 76 at about $1500. The pictures make me believe that they are ok restorations but nothing to go bragging to mom about. If I was buying them to make money, I'd want to be in to them $5000 or less. You might have to educate him a little about how hard it is to sell restored pumps sometimes...good luck.

I will agree with petropumps, around here, I could get in the neighborhood of 7-8 for them. I would want to be in them for about 5k.

Thanks, Phil
