By looking at the bid history, I would say at least 8 people belive it's real.

If they think it's real, they must be thinking this is going to be the steal of the century. A sign worth at least $1600+++ for less than $500. Wow!!

Original's are 12" & have a BLACK back. Seller states; "It is 11 1/2 inches in diameter and porcelained on both sides. There is patina showing and I think it is original. I do not think it is a reproduction as all that I have seen are 12 inches diameter and black on the backside. You be the judge."

YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE A DIFFERENCE IN THE FOOT CROSSING THE "C" AND ALSO THE "GASOLINE" LETTERING IS BOLDER IN THE ORIGINAL.

Thanks. I will check it out.

- flyingcrown-ranch Did this answer your question? If not, let the seller know.
I thought this auction was over- there still 22 min. It might go higher than the $465.

I gave the seller Oldgas' website address when I asked questions about the sign. Instead of looking to see the differences, they wrote back complaining that people are writing them about their sign.
Now, I wonder why people are writing?
I told the seller, he better hope the winner doesn't see the thread on this sign.
