It is E-bays fault!! I know in the past they have got many reports about fakes and scams on a single auction and have done nothing about it. But try to put a $50 shipping charge to double box a globe and see how fast your listing gets pulled if anyone points that out. They think your charging too much to circumvent their commissions. Never mind that it really costs that to ship a globe properly. "What a joke!!!"

Thanks for mentioning it was a fake...I thought it was due to the back of the sign and the orange looking rust...I sold a repop phillips 66 no smoking sign on ebay...mentioned it was a repop and it sold for 16.07...another guy listed one after beating the ***** out of it...talked about all the "wear and tear"... (due to him burrying it in his yard for 1 year) - it sold for 400+...DUMB.

yes , I'm reminded of that on my prices all the time . I strive to do a decent job on Early Fords and the meuseuem work I still do . people today want it fast an cheap . Ed Shaver
