Got a letter saying that I could no longer access my paypal account unless I go into a link, looked like a real paypal letter, I had plenty of these in past that said ebay so I knew right away this was a fake, wonder if these come from other country or what this seems to happen way too much

Click on Forward on the email... Then type in spoof@paypal.com for address! Click send! This will get paypal on their job and shutdown spammers!

I receive them all the time & I'M NOT A PAY PAL user. Anything Legit WILL start out w/ Your name, not Dear Customer: Legit emails will be in your inbox, not the spam folder.

Yep. I got one about two weeks ago and sent it to spoof@paypal and got a message back from them that indeed it was a scam and they were tracking it down. If its not in my mailbox at ebay or paypal I don't do anything with them. John

Never, ever click on a link in an email to take you to a site where you login with a password.
It is possible to make it look exactly perfect like it is real, even though it may be 100% scam. Your bank, investment company, eBay, Paypal, etc.
Always go to the site by using your known reliable bookmarked link. Don't trust a nice looking email, no matter how real it looks.

A girl my wife works with thought she was cleaned out of her savings and checking accounts for what appeared to by the right site. She's not ever going to use the web again to do anything money related.
