Well that rare Wayne 100 on ebay didnt make the reserve. Item # 180479171128 ended a short while ago. It had 942 viewers and 30 bids that only topped to $2146.00 I would like to know what he was expecting to get. Really a unique pump, and its still his.

Suprises me a lot! I thought that was a load for it. Rare or not, there has to be a point where you tip from rare to costly but obviously he felt it wasn't reached. For me, it was!

Item # 170460364247 for the $3000 Buy it Now or Make an offer.

I was looking at the picture of the ID tag. Never understood why there has to be over spray on everything when you can tell they did mask over it but did a sloppy job doing it. It is an awesome pump and you throw a quick paint job on it and it looks great in pictures. Wonder what it looks like in person.

Maybe one day a site such as this could have its devoted members list just what they own, restored or still unrestored. Maybe the word would get out in many areas and there could be like a census of surviving gas pumps. Its highly unlikely it would come together but some participation would be better then nothing. Too bad pump manufacturer's didnt leave an production quota on there models like automobiles. All this would give a small clue what went to land fills and whats waiting to be done or is in the game rooms now. Maybe that Wayne 100 is worth $3000. How rare is rare? Any thoughts on this?

No offense meant to anyone..but honestly that pump does nothing for me. I don't care for the rounded portion on the bottom..cheapens the style of the pump IMO. There are many other pumps I would rather have for $3000.00

I don't believe pump will sell for $3,000, $700 if he's LUCKY.

He should have taken the $2146.00 highest bidder and not hold out for $3000. He needs to be a member on this site and grab a few pointers.

WOW, Looks like it sold for $3,000. I would have much rather had that Rheem 34 that sold on here for $1,000 less. Wonder what that pump would have brought if put on Ebay.

Must of been the one for the buyer to complete the collectoin, cause what could you expect to flip this model for. Im starting to take a better look at my pump collection now. It might be all about the model, style, company and or color that makes people throw out those Ben Franklin's.
