On Ebay item # 180479171128 shows a really clean straight Wayne 100. Ive never seen one like this or heard of one's existence. In my Sim's book it shows it but its held by a hand. Whats up with that. Can a pump like this be worth big bucks and how rare is it? I kinda like it! Roger

The opening in the reel can move from one side to the other.
Not to many out there.

Same concept as the 100A but sleeker looking I think. I love that nozzle pocket!

The picture in Jacks book was obviously taken from an advertisement of some kind but it clearly identifies the pump. Pretty cool unit indeed! I'd love to have it but thats a ways away!

Not that rare if I have one, but apparently rare enough that parts are not easy to come by...I've posted on here before looking for some sheet metal for this pump. If someone has one for parts please contact me.

About as rare as the NATIONAL A-1/B-1. Because it was intro'd in the early part of WW2, not many were made before production was cut short due to lack of steel.
Vendors make repo parts of what they can sell the most of [common pumps]. Some will make a few parts as a challenge.
Good Luck on finding the face glass if missing/broke.

My thoughts exactly on the glass. If the pump were mine and I wish I were, I would be inclined to use 1/8 plexiglass and have someone hold it in start of the bend and use a heat gun to shape as you come around to the flat side and let cool to trim. I will be watching this auction to see what kind of bites it gets. I suppose being sort of new here It would be hard pressed for me to get donations from all of you to buy this pump. Im really a nice guy!!!!!!!

To expand on what DB said, it is defenitely worth that kind of money if as my books states (near 100% complete). Since the glass is next to impossible to find, the price drops way down. Almost every one of these I have seen had no glass.

Roger,
It would be better to make a wood pattern & lay the acrylic on top, then heat w/ a heat gun to get an even curve.

Beware of the guy selling this pump. I bought a clock from him on Dec.9 and he agreed to pick up another one and ship both to me. I had to go to PAyPAl to get the first one and had to get the Bellvue Police to call him after over 90 days, he then did bring it to Vics in Everett WA. They are going to ship it to me. I mailed him $100 to get and ship the other clock. Any way i will have the other next week.
