Thanks Guys, I have purchased the pump. I don't have a good reason for not asking the question pre-purchase other than the previous owner is a friend that is in hard times and if I'd heard it was only worth $900 like my 2002 copy of Jack's book says, I'd probably still given him the $1,500 for it..

I was not trying to take advantage of him, he set the price and it was all I was willing to pay. The globe is all original.

Now the important question.... where the heck am I going to find the correct sight glass parts?

Also Jack, I will buy a copy of your 2008 book.

Thanks again,

Jim

You can get them several places but Ron Scobie has them. His web site is www.gaspump.com

Thanks, Phil

Thanks Phil. Looks like he has just what I am looking for, since I have the original base for the sight glass I want to find the original style parts to go on the gauge or sight glass. I thought there was a new hose with it but there's not so I'll get one of those from him too....

Thanks again,

Jim

Should be able to get a hose from local distributor/service company & save on shipping.

It's home... the seller just delivered it... is it a 40 or a 40A?

Thanks,

Jimmy
